Many of the tenants have previously been homeless and have struggled with various personal challenges, including physical and mental health issues, addictions and trauma. At this point in time, I successfully juggled ful-time college and 2 jobs (with LCBO) at the same time. This was very difficult for me to manage, but i stayed very focused on succeeding in each area that I often had to push my social life aside. My manager was especially impressed by my ability to learn the role so quickly and conduct a unique selling system to customers with a win- win situation. I was very punctual at a time where each and every employee was key to keeping the store running efficiently and safely. Being chosen among thousands of applicants was my first achievement and the large volume of daily transactions of $40,000 within 4 hours of work assured me that I am highly adaptive and well-skilled in both problem-solving and improvising. This government position has taught me the importance of public health and safety, which I will apply in the work force. At the end of the season, I was offered a permanent position within the company, however my education commitments forced me to turn the role down. Show less
