I am an analyst based in the Brussels office of Technopolis Group, where I specialise in digital policies, Smart Cities and Communities, digital transformation, and twin transition at the EU level. As a member of the Digital Line, I provide policy consulting services that support these areas.I am actively involved in the Intelligent Cities Challenge team, an EC initiative under DG GROW and EISMEA, which helps cities navigate the green and digital transition of their local economies. Furthermore, my contributions include co-authoring reports that monitor and document the digital and green transformations in European SMEs (DG GROW), and working on Local Digital Twins (DG CNECT) at the urban level, collaborating with public authorities and private companies.Before joining Technopolis Group, I gained valuable experience in urban and regional development within the Belgian R&I and entrepreneurship sectors, particularly focusing on SMEs. My work involved conducting research and promoting innovative entrepreneurs in Leuven, Brussels, and the Vlaams Brabant region. I was also honored to be selected as one of the Young Observers by the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission for the 2022 Horizon Europe calls. In this role, I gained firsthand experience in the evaluation of Horizon Europe projects and served as a rapporteur, leading the writing of the Young Observers report for my call.I enhanced my academic background by completing courses on Methodology in Social Science at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), where I developed strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Additionally, I was awarded two Masters by the "Fondazione Italia-USA," for which I delivered project works focused on the promotion of Made in Italy and the digitalisation of Italian businesses abroad.
