Specialist In Dry Storage Casks For Spent Nuclear Fuel
CurrentAs of July 2024, I serve as a Licensing Manager for a new cask design for Leibstadt Nuclear Power Plant, working closely with the manufacturer and the regulatory body to secure approvals and ensure compliance with the safety standards. In parallel, I also lead audits for various cask designs, consistently upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.In addition, I play a pivotal role in the Ageing Management process, overseeing the monitoring of cask ageing mechanisms over a 60+ year lifespan and contributing to the establishment of a new Transport and Storage Cask Platform.Previously, I was the Manufacturing Manager for Transport and Storage Casks, where I managed pre-manufacturing documentation, analyzed non-conformity reports, and coordinated manufacturing inspections.Beyond my technical responsibilities, I actively promote Axpo and nuclear energy by participating in university job fairs, high school Technical Days, and conferences. I am also a member of the company's Strategy group, contributing to the Power Forward campaign, which drives our strategy and values, fosters engagement, and inspires action.
