L’allestimento si trasforma in architettura della tavola in quanto vera e propria composizione spaziale, dove l’ambiente funge da contorno scenografico e lo spazio bidimensionale del tavolo diventa superficie progettuale in una combinazione di forme, colori, materiali, calibrando i pieni e i vuoti, i chiaroscuri, i ritmi, le proporzioni. Il mangiare è infatti un evento multisensoriale che coinvolge la vista, il naso, l’udito, il tatto, e il gusto allo stesso tempo, ma è anche un incontro di emozioni, piaceri, memoria. L’obiettivo del libro è creare un nuovo sistema di convivialità a tavola, dove possano emergere nuove relazioni e interrelazioni sociali e culturali.
