- Project Lead in the development of new innovative medical products with internal and external stakeholders.-Idea generation and follow up in products and services related to Biomedical Engineering, following ISO 13845 and 7176 guidelines.-Support other teams in biomedical issues and exploring new technologies.-Interface with universities and other external institutes related to biomedical projects.

Title: "Virtual design of 3D printed ankle foot orthoses"The project is inserted in a multidisciplinary environment together with industrial and academic partners, such as V!GO (Ottobock), Materialise and Devan Chemicals. My personal tasks consisted in the creation of an experimental setup, in close collaboration with V!GO (Ottobock), for the quantification of the mechanical properties of 3D printed orthopedic devices, called ankle foot orthoses (AFOs), which are used to restore and provide a natural gait pattern for patients with gait disabilities. In the same framework, I created several patient-specific finite element (FE) models of the AFOs for the prediction of their behavior, which were validated through the utilization of the experimental setup.
