I was born and grew up in Sicily, a land whose culture and warmth I always cherish even though I haven't lived there since my 20s; in the past 15 years, I've called home other cities in Italy, Spain and Germany, places where I've enjoyed mingling with a wide range of people and cultures. I love to read, travel and play sports and board games♟️, I served as a scout leader in a number of roles related to youngsters' education, leaders training, and local and national resources organisation (semel scout, semper scout! ⚜️), organised a number of TEDx's and startup-related events and I volunteer regularly to help new projects take their first steps, all while constantly looking for new interesting people to meet.After gaining an academic background in business administration, I honed my skills in process organisation, project management and IT governance for business needs during my experiences as a management consultant at KPMG and Bip - Business Integration Partners, and as an organisation and innovation manager in other international companies such as doValue and Debitos. At some point in my life, I discovered the fascinating world of startups, which lured me into a rabbit hole out of which I've not yet found the exit: my first project, Skilled, was a painful but delightful experience which taught me so much despite lasting not long enough to prove successful; the second one, Alma Digit, was an enjoyable ride that led me to the European stage and proved very rewarding both personally and professionally; the third one, CyLock, has just started its journey to lift off! 😎🍀🚀I consider myself a careful, curious and proactive person, highly ambitious and motivated to succeed.
