I successfully completed clinical development programs for several technologies including parasiticides, novel dermatology drugs and drug delivery systems, working with the local affiliate and reporting into a global team based in the US. I also had responsibility for identification of regional technologies for acquisition and comercial development.A noted innovator within the organisation, I was charged with the development and execution of an ANZ innovation workshop which produced over 500 novel ideas for animal health of which several were prioritised and implemented by the local commercial business.During this time I designed and implemented a local Corporate and Social Responsibility strategy aligned with Elanco's global CSR goals which continues today.

I was responsible for analysing and interpreting data from clinical trials and turning that data into a variety of writing products including manuscripts, abstracts, poster presentations and slide decks for oral presentations, in addition to developing protocols and final study reports for regulatory submissions. The materials produced were directed towards a variety of audiences, from the purely scientific or medically focused, to clinical trials professionals, internal marketing teams and regulators. I worked collaboratively with statisticians and clinical research physicians and controlled the review and approval processes supporting the submission of manuscripts.This role provided me with significant insight and exposure to the entire clinical trials process through being embedded in clinical research teams and writing scientific content from protocol development through to the final outputs of the clinical trial process.
