About Alex López

I’m the CTO & Co-Founder of Plytix!We started as an ecommerce analytics platform in 2015, and we’ve grown to be the industry-leading Product Information Management (PIM) tool for small to medium-sized businesses in retail. Our PIM software is designed to help companies manage content at scale—helping you to get your products to market faster and smarter. We have a year-over-year growth rate of 150% and a presence in 29 markets (and counting). I head up the product and development teams in building epic ecommerce software, among other things. I have 15-years of experience in software architecture and development, mostly using Python. My strengths rest in designing usable products that can scale. I’m extremely dedicated to my field, and my constant pursuit of knowledge in business and technology enables me to lead skilled, successful developers and product designers. When I don’t have my tech cap on, I’ve got my hands full with two beautiful daughters. You’ll also find me working my magic in the kitchen, cooking up a storm with wine in hand.
