In this role, I was responsible for:- Pre departure checks of vehicles, scanning and loading of goods for delivery to hospitals and pathologists, collecting specimens and blood donations for processing at SPC.- Booking service and repairs for cars, vans, trucks and trailers and heavy vehicle inspections for trucks and trailers.- Transportation and set up of trailers for blood donations at various sites, site inspections for proposed venues.- Driver training for new drivers and overseeing other drivers.

The focus of this role was safely conveying passengers in varying driving conditions, duties included: - Airport transfers, transporting inbound tourists, conducting site seeing tours (primarily city sights, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and A.C.T.) and providing associated commentary.- Adhering to strict dress and conduct codes, OH&S policies and procedures and time schedules.- Ensuring coordination regarding itineraries, accommodation and meals (including specific dietary requirements) and issuing vouchers.- Coordinating with other drivers regarding multi-coach movements.- Loading and unloading luggage.- Maintaining high standard of cleanliness and sound mechanical order and carrying out basic repairs as required to coaches.- Carrying out duties as limousine driver (company contracted to Federal Government to convey heads of state and attend formal occasions such as funerals and armed forces functions).- Liaising with Federal Police and Prime Minister’s Office as required.
