As an Embedded Software and Firmware Engineer at @Bosch, I design, develop, and test software solutions. I apply my skills and knowledge in embedded systems, C/C++, Linux, and leadership to create reliable and efficient products that meet customer needs and industry standards. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration, validation, and troubleshooting tasks as well as spearheading implementation and testing work for customers onsite across the nation. In addition to programming, I also had the opportunity to mentor many new engineers, step into project management responsibilities, and interview and lead up-and-coming programmers.I graduated from Bethel University with two bachelor's degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics. I gained valuable experience as a Teacher's Assistant in the Physics and Engineering departments, where I helped students with homework, labs, and projects. I also lead several research projects, such as Dual-Beam Photospectroscopy and Digital Spectroscopy research. In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I am passionate about music and discipleship. I compose songs and play the guitar professionally for bands from different genres throughout the country and lead worship in many churches in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, as well as mentor young adults.
