As a Service Desk Operator (Contract) at North and East London Commissioning Support Unit I undertake many responsibilities. I also have worked on the Ipswich and East Suffolk CCG & West Suffolk CCG migration from Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) as part of my role. With the previous knowledge and experience I had at NSFT helped me settle quickly into my new working role; and I was able to help from the migration that soon followed as stated above.

My role within Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust was an IT Service Desk Technician. I would be the first point of contact between over 8,000 staff for any IT query or issue they had. I had to document and investigate the request, and perform troubleshooting to fix it there and then. If it was not able to be fixed remotely via remote desktop solutions it would need to be triaged and assigned to another team. • Remotely troubleshooting and fixing software issues• Fixing Windows XP, Windows 7 operating system issues• Supporting over 8,000 end-users (NSFT, WSCCG, IESCCG, ECCH)• Triaging and documenting issues• User administration tasks with Active Directory and Exchange • Bitlocker/Sophos/McAfee Encryption Recovery
