Profile bio

About Alex Abrams

My name is Alex Abrams and I am a current graduate student at the University of Delaware pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) through UD's 4+1 program. I love solving complex problems, working with numbers, and trying to apply the skills and knowledge that I have obtained throughout the past few years in my engineering discipline. Aside from my passion for solving challenging problems, I find a large amount of passion from the use of CAD software, more specifically Solidworks. I am always looking to learn new things, both in scientific and mathematical fields. I enjoy the ability to create and model various parts/assemblies within CAD software and then further analyze these designs through FEA and other simulation tools or hand calculations. I am eager to learn and excited to see what I can really do. I am seeking unique and challenging opportunities that can reflect this, and I look forward to what the future has to offer.
