I began my journey at Aldridge Electric at the age of 13, immersing myself in the family business from the ground up, working alongside skilled craftsmen and women. These formative years in the field, contributing to projects ranging from transportation systems to industrial complexes, instilled in me a profound appreciation for our industry.After completing my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Colorado in 2005, I ventured beyond the family business, gaining valuable experience in the Water and Wastewater Management Industry. In 2009, I returned to Aldridge Electric as a project manager and estimator, executing projects across diverse locations, from corporate headquarters in Illinois to West Virginia and Texas.As my journey progressed through various operating divisions, my brother Steve and I assumed the role of Co-Chief Operating Officers in 2015. This pivotal transition prompted a strategic restructuring of our operating divisions, paving the way for greater leadership and revenue growth. Steve and I collaborated on business plans and strategic direction for the company, and as we continued to grow, we refined our roles, with me taking on the position of Chief Executive Officer.Today, as CEO of Aldridge Electric, I hold a broader responsibility for steering the organization's vision, managing operations, ensuring safety, enhancing financial performance, and charting our company's strategic course. I am deeply committed to maintaining the ethical, transparent, and employee-focused culture that has been our hallmark.Personally, I am passionate about investing in our employees and fostering a robust safety culture, which is particularly vital in our high-risk construction industry. Our core values at Aldridge Electric—Putting People First, Raising the Bar, Being True Partners, and Fostering Innovation—are the bedrock of our success and the principles I hold dear.I also actively engage with industry associations and organizations, including Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT), The Beavers, The Moles, and OSHA ET&D Alliance. I serve as a Board Member for Friends of Lake Bluff Parks and hold memberships with the Association of Drilled Shafts (ASDC) and FMI Consulting Peer Group. In addition, as part of Aldridge’s commitment to giving back, I am involved with the Aldridge Family Foundation and Aldridge Gives, supporting various philanthropic initiatives.Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending quality time with my family, and exploring new places through travel, cycling, and fly fishing.
