Year Here is a full-time social innovation fellowship for enterprising graduates who want to test and build smart responses to inequality in London. On this placement-based programme I developed skills and experience in design, project management and evaluation through the following experience:- Designed, led and evaluated a service design project to develop a new model for tackling isolation in sheltered accommodation. Following my placement, the codesigned model remained in use and was rolled out to more sites.- Worked with a housing associate to conduct user research, build a theory of change and develop a communication strategy for reducing barriers to entrepreneurship for residents.- Worked with a colleague on the development of a social enterprise to deliver nature-based mental health interventions for young people.

The role of PL is to oversee and manage the intensive NCS programme of up to 84 young people and 15 staff, working both residentially and in the local community.This entails responsibility for the overall running of the programme, managing the staff team and pastoral care of both staff and participants.
