I am currently studying Accounting at Kelley School of Business-Indianapolis. I chose this field of study for myself because I enjoy accounting processes, analyzing data, and data entry. With my interests in mind, I would like to analyze data and workflow processes to find ways to improve upon these processes. I would look for risks in these processes and insert the proper controls needed to make sure corruption does not occur and to ensure efficiency. I have used my skills in data entry at my previous jobs and internships by using programs such as Excel, AutoAudit, and InformationNow. I am interested in pursing a career in auditing or tax accounting once I graduate with my Bachelor's Degree. I plan to have 150-credit hours upon graduation and test for my CPA certification.
