With over 15 years of work experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, I am passionate about advancing economic and community development in North Carolina. As the Assistant Director of Economic and Community Development at the City of Fayetteville, I oversee multiple programs and initiatives that aim to promote growth, equity, and inclusion in the city. I also engage with diverse stakeholders, and partners to foster positive and productive relationships. In addition, I am honored to represent District 13 as a Lumbee Tribal Council member, where I advocate for the rights, interests, and needs of my community. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and I have completed several certifications in nonprofit management, community development, and leadership from Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. I bring a wealth of skills, knowledge, and experience to my roles, as well as a commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence. I am always eager to learn new things, face new challenges, and contribute to the greater good.
