After graduating high school, I entered the United States Army, where I served as an intelligence analyst, infantry rifleman, and infantry team leader deploying overseas twice. After finishing my active duty commitment, I entered the National Guard where I served part time while pursing civilian education and a civilian career in law enforcement. While in the National Guard, I have served as a squad leader, section leader, and operations sergeant. I deployed overseas a third time supporting training exercises with partner nations. After working in law enforcement, I began working full time as a member of the Active Guard Reserve of the Kansas Army National Guard where I have worked as a recruiter, and I am currently working as a unit readiness NCO.
