Curator for the World Scouting Museum (Formally Las Vegas International Scouting Museum) as it moves from Las Vegas, NV to Charleston, WV. -Organizing and expanding collection.-Tours -Community Engagement -Building Management -Research -Wordpress Website Management -Curatorial projects -Digitization and access to information. -Oversight of GSUSA Gold Award Projects and 2 Gold Award Pin Recipients -Oversight and Editing of Cookbook as fundraiser from items within our collection.Run museum daily operations. -Run museum board meetings -Run and plan museum special events -Install the Museum Library into a new building -Maintain Museum Library due to the age and rarity of books and other media -General Oversight and Management of Museum Library/Archive -General Oversight and Management of Museum Storage -General Oversight and Management of Museum Displays -General Oversight and Management of Museum Business Plan / Strategies -Research, manage, plan, and execute Federal/State/Local Grants -Complete Installation of the Museum in Charleston, WV w/ some help from the Executive Director -Coordinate and Plan Storage Areas of the Museum -Draft Docent and Board of Governors Code of Conduct -Recognition by WV State Senate Resolution 49 in 2024 on WV History Day at the State Capitol -Build enclosures for exhibits -Decorate the Museum by choosing items for display -Cataloging Donations -Preparing Donation Tax Letters for donations -Coordinate and Contact Country Wide Donation Project for Order of the Arrow NOAC patches -Update website from HTML to WordPress -Establish a Merit Badge College Program that allows Scouts to attend and work on 10 different merit badges -Enroll the Museum in the West Virginia Association of Museums, where I served the first year as an At-Large Board Member. -In July 2024 became the West Virginia Association of Museums Vice President -Various other duties as needed or required by the Senior member of the Executive Staff for the World Scouting Museum
