CurrentIdentified and originated primary and secondary market infrastructure debt transactions in North and South America as lead arranger, participant, and financial advisor, to build a total loan portfolio of more than $1.5 bln. Industry sectors include private sector (P3) and public sector (tax-exempt) toll roads/bridges, transit, airports, ports, and social infrastructure;Responsibilities as transaction team leader include; (i) developing and maintaining long term relationships with infrastructure equity investors, issuers and bankers in the North/Latin American market; (ii) leading bank groups in the negotiation of key terms and conditions for primary debt issuance; (iii) identification of strategic secondary market purchases of infrastructure bonds/loans;(iv) development of legal structure to enable ING to provide guarantees and other credit products in the tax-exempt municipal market;(v) in-depth due diligence of traffic demand, off-take and construction risks, (vi) leading transaction teams/supervision and development of junior staff;(vii) actively managing loan portfolio from close through final repayment, and (viii) speaking/representing ING at industry conferences and forums.
