Customer RetentionLed a team focused on extending customer tenure by identifying at-risk customer segments and designing targeted solutions that make it easier for them to stay with Root. My team’s scope includes everything from customer service design, to billing optimization projects, to telematics-based dividends programs. These projects resulted in a 5% increase in retention of our at risk policyholders from Q2 of 2020 and onward. Coordinated and lead a full redesign between creative studio, product design and engineering across our app and web properties. Helped roll out and establish Root's primary design system. My role was a hybrid of IC work and strategic direction across a small but mighty design team.

GrowthI led a small growth team focused on optimizing Root’s web signup flow. quote.joinroot.com Designed solutions that helped Root recognize an additional ~$1 million of weekly recurring revenue in 2019. Turning Root’s web signup flow into it’s largest acquisition channel.These projects were integral in helping Root scale pre-IPO.

I also leverage my visual design experience to make high and low fidelity UI mockups and interaction patterns for various development teams to ensure the UI has been implemented to spec.

Established video branding standards for Energy Choice programs the year of 2012 & 2013 along animated and live action video content for viewing on web and mobile devices. Other responsibilities include mark making, special event branding, apparel design.
