In my current role, I am driving numerical simulations (FEM), developing software tools and automation solutions for airplane components stress analysis.- Guide customers across the company on best practices for conducting structural analysis using 3D simulations and analysis automation.- Developing a platform (C++) to create a user-friendly suite of structural analysis tools from legacy software (written in Fortran) under common architecture. - In a short timeframe designed and developed a Python module to automate parametrically-driven structural analysis via 3D simulation for a specific manufacturing defect. Employed innovative methods for data pre- and post-processing. This solution allowed to prove safety for a component of the airplane fleet ($Ms in potential impact). - Developed a unique geometry morphing approach and implemented it as a Python tool. The solution allowed rapid sizing for complex geometry airplane component assemblies. Presented at an international technical conference (BTEC 2019)-Proposed and implemented a Python parser for internal tools usage statistics across the company, generating web charts, updating daily via CI/CD pipeline. Allowed to grade tools by overall impact and concetrate on supporting most important ones.
