I am a flight instructor and air tour pilot based at St. Simon's Island Airport (KSSI). I routinely conduct Part 61 flight training for student pilots, flight reviews, discovery flights, and rental checkouts. I also pilot local air tours over the coast of Georgia's Golden Isles while greeting guests, giving a thorough safety briefing, narrating historical sites, and providing duel instruction on the basic flight controls if requested. Previously, I was an Area Manager at the Madison, Alabama, Amazon fulfillment center, HSV1, as the outbound pick manager with 60+ direct reports. I graduated from High Point University in Spring 2023 with my bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication (PR, Marketing, and advertising). At HPU, I was involved in several organizations such as the Delta Chi Fraternity as a founding executive officer, Class of 2023 Senior Leadership Commitee, Peer Mentor, Inter-Fraternity Council Justice, Big Brother Big Sister of the Piedmont Triad, Division 1 Gameday Operations, and intramural sports.In 2022, I interned with Amazon as an Area Manager on the outbound ship dock at ALB1 in Albany, NY. My project focused on standard work for post-slam reduction for rolled freight. I helped support the shift by conducting standups, completing audits, moving labor, and supporting the Prime Day operation. I have also interned for PlaneSense as a Flight Operations Specialist in the Flight Operations Center (FOC) at their headquarters in NH. I was responsible for crew logistics such as hotels, rental cars, black car service, food coordination, deadhead flights, releasing crews, airport operational feasibility, and collaborating with crew scheduling for 35+ crews throughout the fleet. My significant accomplishments include achieving my Eagle Scout in 2018 and, more recently, my Commercial Pilot Certificate, as well as my Certified Flight Instructor.
