Hello there. I am a presales enthusiast with >12 years of experience in and around SaaS and I am obsessed with the customer life cycle. While I started my early career in sales, I soon transitioned into presales when I saw the potential of the role. I was transfixed by the notion that when you’re adding true value in presales, then it’s happening throughout every touch point of the customer life cycle. Whether it be go-to-market, sales, solution functions or customer success, these touch points can (& should) all be impacted by presales. To be in a position to impact not only sales, but also the retention, upsell and expansion of a company is an awesome responsibility and provides unique challenges that I have always thrived off. My enthusiasm and obsession to understand the customer life cycle within a presales context has also pushed me to take risks to gain new perspectives. This past year and a half I was fortunate to be asked by a fast growing national brewery to assist them in implementing their company-wide technology stack. As intended, sitting on the other side of multiple demo’s and sales engagements has re-shaped my view on SaaS sales profoundly and I can’t wait to take my learnings to my next role. I am big believer that people don’t leave jobs but instead leave managers and/or culture.
