Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, scientists, and non-technical contributors to build the first digital tutor more effective than one-on-on expert instruction at teaching IT. Worked across the entire codebase, contributing to everything from low-level system programming to user-facing UX, to internal support tools.The many things I worked on at Acuitus include, but are not limited to:- Low-level system instrumentation for Windows and Unix systems, enabling real-time tracking of everything students did in virtual environments- Semantic models describing virtual training environment data, including all student actions within Windows and Unix VMs, and the resulting system state- Data extraction and normalization systems enabling real-time semantic analysis of data from student training environments using the above models- Student monitoring, transcription and intervention tools- Tools supporting independent trials and competitions, and on-site support during their use- Construction of training environments for both early research trials and delivery of the product to our customers in the US Navy
