I worked 7 months in a centre which acts as a holiday club but also partners up with the local school during term time providing care for primary school aged children before and after the school hours as well as during the 2 hour lunch break. I learned to work with a team in a professional environment and I also learned to deal with emergency situations and reacting under pressure. For half term breaks the centre opens as a holiday club so the team has to prepare a whole plan of activities for 2 weeks taking into account diversity, safety, inclusion... I also learned about project planning.
