Hi, I’m Alex! I’m an Aerospace Engineering Student specializing in Astrodynamics at UC San Diego with a graduation date of June 2026.Until graduation…- I am focusing on expanding my knowledge and skill set in different project teams, such as Yonder Dynamics, to gain real experience working on projects and building a strong foundation in engineering.- I am continuing my second year interning at ViaSat, learning more about flight dynamics, spacecraft design, and improving daily operations through documentation revamping and new automation tools.- I am challenging myself by taking on the opportunity of being the new head of Professional Development for a social engineering organization I am involved with, to hone my leadership and communication skills while making a positive impact on the UCSD community.- I will be studying abroad this Fall Semester at Lund University in Sweden to learn more about space, environmental engineering, and to gain a global perspective on aerospace technology!Aspirations- I want to learn more about Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), rocket technology, and the development of sustainable spacecraft. My dream is to revolutionize drone applications and work on projects that enable astronauts to travel further, leading to new discoveries and innovations.- I want to continuously grow as an engineer, staying at the forefront of aerospace innovations by learning and applying new skills and knowledge.
