• Working on Coal Seam Gas drilling projects in Australia• Often required to assist in the on call support centre and assist field personnel with troubleshooting over the phone. • Following well plans given by the client in order to reach specified coal seams.• Using geosteering techniques whilst drilling horizontal wells, to identify formation boundaries and interpret coal seam sections.• Supervising drilling assembly make up and break down.• Utilising the Compass software system to track wellpath, and provide solutions and dynamic wellplans when drilling in seam.• Completing end of well report for the client, including gamma logs and verified survey report.• Maintaining and operating Blackmax and PDT Electromagnetic MWD/LWD tools and systems, and performing EM ranging in order to intersect vertical well targets.

Europe And Africa

• Providing MWD/LWD services at onshore drilling rigs in the UK, Europe and East Africa.• Running Geolink positive and negative mudpulse MWD/LWD systems.

Uk

• Stationed at various offshore installations in UK and Danish sectors The North Sea.• Installing computer networks across the rig.• Ensuring data is accurately entered into a database, from where it can be obtained and presented • Responsible for the running and upkeep of a logging unit and drilling/rig monitoring system. • Completing Hydraulics reports with pore pressure analysis, and swab and surge calculations.• Monitoring all drilling and well parameters, acting as the first response to signs of potentially dangerous situations occurring.

• Collecting, analysing and distributing formation samples from wells drilled on offshore installations in The North Sea.• Monitoring gas levels present in the mud system using the gas chromatograph.• Compiling formation data from various sources and creating a comprehensive formation evaluation log for the well
