CurrentManage electronic discovery for the Commission’s affirmative and defensive litigation by overseeing the preservation, collection, analysis, review, and production of electronically stored information. Provide advice, testimony, and training on discovery and overall litigation strategy. Develop policy and engage new technologies to mitigate litigation risk and increase efficiencies. Work in several areas of information governance, including federal records, privacy, and FOIA. Initiated a financial litigation unit that focuses on the post-judgment discovery and seizure of assets to enforce the Commission’s judgments against fraudsters and advocate for victims of fraud. Also litigate and provide strategy for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases that affect the Commission.
