> Arrange meeting with client to discuss VAT related questions.> Assist Manager in preparing VAT report based on the business operation obtained from clients. The VAT report included indirect tax impact for each of the business activities, for example: good and services are to be classified as standard rated supply, zero-rated supply, exempt supply, which purchased are claimable as input tax, or non-claimable due to the supplier is not register.> Conduct meeting with client to discuss various VAT matter and where necessary, to provide my opinions and technical interpretations for VAT related issues.> Consult client on system software in their SAP / Oracle system for the VAT related tax code, to facilities client to differentiate difference line of supply.> Assist Manager in drafting advisory email related to VAT queries raised by client.> Conduct VAT presentation workshop with the manager for clients, during the implementation stage and to clarify VAT queries being raised on the sport.> Visited local VAT authority (i.e. Customs) to clarify on certain VAT issues.> Consistently update the clients VAT information, should there is new law and regulations being issued / amended by the local authority.> Post VAT implementation, walkthrough with client on the first month VAT submission. I review the client classification on the input tax and output tax, and advise client, should there is any incorrectly entries.> Involved in multiple clients such as, manufacturing, healthcare, trading, oil and gas industry.
