Managing a world wide distributed pool of 30+ developers: - Resources planning and allocation; - Team management: * hiring decisions, * onboarding, * setting goals and individual development plans, * career growth programs, performance review, * salaries review; - Working with sale person and participating in presale activities: * negotiations with potential clients, * analysis and evaluation of projects, * producing of technical solutions and proposals; - Working with ongoing projects: * supervising project budget and delivery, * solving escalated issues; - Unit budget management.

Responsibilities as DM:-Participate in driving engagements with 100+ FTEs in total, coordinate a pool of 60+ developers, average team size of 10+ FTEs.-Responsible for delivery of required features and modules.-Contribute to the presales: giving estimations, forming vision, proposing architecture, providing WBR, suggesting technologies, tools and methodologies.-Responsible for developing and following project plans.-Participate in mentoring and supervising less skilled team-members, responsible for technical staffing, conduct interviews of candidates.-Identify problems, resolve issues, escalate them timely if needed.-Able to handle conflicts between team members, able to handle conflicts caused by discrepancy of reality and client’s expectations. -Apply suitable processes and methodologies, make team members follow them.-Able to consult the client on software methodology, cooperation patterns and delivery plans.-Make decisions in high-level architecture changes, choice of tech approaches, frameworks and libraries. Meanwhile, able to listen to other team members and follow their recommendations.-Give estimations of new modules, massive change requests, updating/changing software tools/libraries/frameworks.-Negotiate with stakeholders, PO and BA, PM, cooperate with other customer departments (DevOps team, DBAs, QA, helpdesk).Responsibilities as TL/A:-New projects start, architecture design.-Supervising and mentoring newcomers, developer’s performance review.-Code review.-Development environment setup and CI processes development setup.-Write technical documentation.-Keep project dependencies up to date.-Plan, roadmap and implement technical improvements.
