Leading the 'core' retail learning and development for dyson in GB. Implementing a rolling 3 year learning strategy for dyson GB while also working with our strategic retailer partners to develop join business plans, learning and development pathways. Setting out the ambition to make training a profit making department by 2020. Responsible for budget forecasting and spend - with a L&D budget of £1/2m in 2017.With the lead and introduction of 'learning light' I was able to increase the retail training touch points from 8000 to 21000 in my first year (162% YOY increase). I increased and customised dyson retail 'Academies' to provide a higher increase in absorbed knowledge from each event. Leading DixonsCarphone Product Learning Centre Roadshows and securing first and second place supplier results in 2015 and 2016. Leading the learning plans as well as implementation for 8 for product launches during my role; including V8 cord free technology, dyson purification and and knowledge training for product launches to an internal / retail expert team of 250 colleagues. Analysis of sales out vs. learning provided to understand ROI. Working with retail partner CS teams to provide a holistic approached customer touch points and where learning and development can make a difference to the service, conversion and ATV - following up those events with mystery shopping for ROI.
