I also ensure good stewardship of the organisations resources, oversee HR, day to day finances, site management and health and safety.The church is a new HTB town centre resource church, grafted from St. Peter's Brighton.

On the church council where we are the main decision makers of a parish. Its members are clergy, churchwardens and others elected by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) of the parish.We have the responsibility, along with the incumbent to promote the mission of God in ourparish. We are responsible for the finances of the parish. We also have ultimateresponsibility for the care and maintenance of all church buildings and their contents.

To also deliver a clear vision for operations and growth of the trust which is consistent with the ethos of the organisation.Manage the operation and maintenance of all vessels in accordance with all relevant regulations and codes.Manage the development and maintenance of the office systems to meet current regulations and adapt for future ones.Ensure that the trust meets financial compliance obligations.Plan, staff and fill a full Sail Training programme.Oversee the training and succession planning of sea staff.Manage the taking and servicing of bookings.Responsibility for ensuring the financial viability of the trust.Actively promote a Christian ethos within the trust and all its activities.

Skipper Morning Star of Revelation and help lead the training of other volunteer sea staff.

• Develop, Deliver and Evaluate a sail training programme tailored for young people not in education, employment or training. • Develop young volunteers in their sail training/youth work careers. • Assist the Chief Executive in Child Protection/Safeguarding issues. • Manage and lead the winter refit work on the MST vessels (£30-£40 annual project). • • Monitor and develop health and safety issues afloat and ashore. • Involve and encourage volunteer input at sea and during maintenance. • Administration, development and organisation of the NEET programmes. • Assist in marketing and promoting all Sail Training voyages.

• Review and develop youth work provision for the community of Bearsted.• Recruit and lead volunteers for youth clubs and after-school clubs.• Lead weekly school assemblies (in 5 primary schools).• Plan engaging activities and programmes for children and young people including residential activities.• Sit on the church committee for children and youth work (ex-officio).

• Assist the Chaplain/Lay Chaplain in Religious Education lesson materials etc. • To assist the Chaplain/Lay Chaplain in day to day chaplaincy work such as; organising charity events, talking to students, advising the Students Union, attending committee meetings.

• Assist the Participation Officer for Children and Young Peoples Directorate. Helping engage young people in care get involved in how Lancashire's young peoples care services are run.• Attending County Meetings expressing young peoples views.
