As a Senior System Administrator and Technical Team Lead, I provide support and guidance to the Operations and Maintenance team within NOAA's Satellite Operations Facility.

As a Senior System Engineer working within the Flight Dynamics Facility of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, I was central in efforts to plan, design, configure and deploy AWS cloud based resources to support the Software Development and Operations Analysts with their mission supporting human and unmanned spaceflight.

While at the State Department, within the Mobile Operations group, I provided System Administration and Engineering support for the mobile Telecom Expense Management System (TEMS) infrastructure. In this role, I was responsible for the product life cycle of said infrastructure including the planning, building, hardening, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of the application infrastructure stack. Working with a small team of developers, I was successful in supporting the State Department personnel including thousands of diplomats globally, by maintaining a secure and highly available product for their mobile communications expense and inventory management needs.

. Most recently, working for NASA's Nascom organization, I was part of a group tasked with the modernization of their legacy systems. To that end, I was responsible for installing, configuring and deploying a new VMware vSphere cluster to provide the compute, network and storage resources for both lab and production environments. In addition, I worked with other teams on special projects including the deployment of a new network management and modeling software suite. I also researched and upgraded existing technologies such as the Balabit SSH gateway system for the decryption and proxying of incoming ssh connections. Prior to this, I acted as a Hardware Systems technical lead for the re-engineering and modernization project of Nasa's Flight Dynamics Facility. My primary responsibilities included the design, testing and implementation of a cloud based computing environment to replace the legacy HP-UX client server architecture.I performed installation, configuration and administration of all production hardware and software.I provided technical support for all mission analysts, software developers and operations analysts.I assisted with the research and procurement of new hardware and software to support day to day operations.I provided end user desktop support, including account creation, patch installations, software license management.Provided systems monitoring support during 24x7 mission critical space flight operations.
