Working in the IT department for REA Magnet Wire, where I answer the phone and helpdesk tickets for the North American Operations of Rea Magnet Wire. With this I perform routine computer maintenance and troubleshoot via the phone and/or remote technician tools as wells as hands-on troubleshooting for manufacturing computers that operate 24/7.The tasks are as follows but aren't limited to: - Respond to Helpdesk calls; installs, configure and perform first-level diagnostics of problems involving office and shop floor computers.- Perform repairs and inventory management of PC’s, laser scanners, printers, and other equipment for the local manufacturing facility.- Performs software installation and troubleshooting as needed. Maintains a strong knowledge of OS imaging and software packaging/installation techniques.- Creates and Maintain documentation for local systems, hardware and inventories.- Create and Maintains records for repairs, problem resolutions and other activity via IT Service Desk ticketing and Knowledge base system- Performs other duties and assists other departments or plants as directed by IT Support Supervisor.
