I started working at the age of 18 when I was about to graduate high school. After I graduated, I worked for a few more months until I decided, I didn't like the fast food industry. I then decided I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. I never was into building, home design, or anything related to hardware. I took that and applied to Menards. It was a weird place for me to be at first, but by the time I was there for a year, I have improved by miles. It became a 2nd home, I was working mornings and nights (split shifts) and constantly growing. Towards the end I was taking classes to become a manager at Menards (Department Manager or General Manager). At this point I wanted to step into a world that was different again, and I was thinking for the long haul. Truck Driving and Forklift operating is what caught my eye, and I took my knowledge and skills to SAIA Motor Freight. I have been there for 4 months, and I've seen so much improvement already, I haven't gotten my CDL yet, but I am still interested in doing that.
