Holy Cross Energy is a member-owned cooperative serving approximately 45,000 member/owners across five counties in Western Colorado. We recently committed to supply 100% carbon-free electricity by 2030. Our vision is to lead the responsible transition to a clean energy future. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy and services that improve the quality of life for our members and their communities.

We teach leadership in a wilderness setting, including development of outdoor ethics and wilderness skills. Trips range from 7-30 days in a variety of locations. Students range in age and experience from 14 yrs with no camping experience to 30 yrs aspiring outdoor educators.

Teaching Assistant, ESM 241: Environmental Politics and Policy (graduate level)- This course covers a range of topics in environmental politics and policy. Students are expected to learn both the implications of existing environmental policy and how those policies are arrived at through the political process.Teaching Associate, ESM 269: Survey Design and Environmental Public Opinion (graduate level)- I developed this course to teach survey design to students in Bren's Master of Environmental Science and Management program. The course is in lecture format but takes a heavily experiential approach.- Students develop their own surveys, which are then fielded online. Results are used for final papers and presentations, and often the project is a starting point for a master's thesis project.

Develop individualized research programs for clients interested in using experimental methods to improve outcomes related to civic engagement and political campaigns.

While at POST I worked on two main projects: 1) early planning to launch a program to proactively protect agricultural land on the SF Peninsula; 2) legal and other issues faced by farmers on POST land regarding use of surface water on the Central Coast.

Reported to the Program Associate Director of the Office of Natural Resources, Energy, and Science. Oversaw the budgets of a number of federal agencies including: EPA, USDA, DOE, DOI, NSF, NASA, and others.

As a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary, I was responsible for compiling daily briefings for both the Secretary and Deputy Secretary.

Vetting candidates for Presidential appointment, writing memos to members of the senior legal team.

Helping start a non-profit youth advocacy organization. Responsible for helping with organizing structure and overall strategy.
