This position reports to an IT Supervisor. Applied system infrastructure solutions to internal Caterpillar organizations (service center and world- wide business units), suppliers, dealers and end users of Caterpillar equipment. Responsibilities include maintenance and troubleshooting of existing mainframe, personal computer, server, local and wide area network, and or distributed computing infrastructure.

Successfully installed and upgraded over 2000 computers for the California Transportation Department in Los Angeles. Duties include PC configuration to over 2000 desktop computers located in four buildings. Duties included the installation of Lotus Notes, McAfee Anti-Virus, and other specialized software used by the company.
