My work experience started when my brother and I started our own lawn care business in highschool. We started with 2 yards in our neighborhood and grew our business to 50 annual clients. Our average growth over the business life cycle was 80% of revenue annually. I ran the business through college in parallel with my internship at Tennessee Valley Authority. My internship with TVA introduced me to the utility industry where I quickly determined that’s where I want to build my career. I worked as a construction management intern for 2.5 years in TVAs contract construction group. After graduation, I started my career as a field engineer and am currently estimating and managing TVA projects as a Project Manager for the L.E. Myers Co.
