In the ice rink my role is to enforce the health and safety rules and provide guidence to our customers to increase their enjoyment of our facility. Inside this I also work as one of the first aiders who act when a customer is injured on or off the ice, during first aid responses I commonly have to take control of situations and assign roles to other members of staff to ensure the safe and swift removal of the injured party from the ice.My role also carrys the responsibility of closing up the building at night or opening in the morning , ensuring the cleanliness and placement and condition of equipment is up to health and safety standards.
