- Responsible for lead buy areas across the group including sheet board (Cartons and Sleeves), Pouches and foils while also supporting in other areas.- Have been responsible for lead buy areas across the Group including corrugated, printed and plain flexible films, printed and plain labels, printer ribbons and paper laminate primarily.- Responsible for multi site procurement operation across the grocery and prepared meals divisions also. - To reduce the overall cost of supply and drive value throughout the group. - Responsible for all contractual arrangement and price approval for all products in my lead buy areas. - Ensure continuity of supply across the group, delivering good value and quality products to all the main British retailers. - Working with several different teams including technical, NPD, finance, admin, production operations and purchasing. - Working across all Greencore's British divisions - Food to Go, Prepared Meals and Grocery.

Responsible for OPEX and CAPEX expenditure of £47,000,000 per annum with an international supplier base supplying all areas of the Morrisons estate through main estate stores, convenience, manufacturing and logistics with refrigeration components with regards to the direct supply, implementation and maintenance.• To reduce the overall cost of supply, installation and maintenance through the development of an effective supplier base, good supplier relationships, negotiation and the support of key internal and external stakeholders with the application of up to date market and product knowledge. • The compilation of management reports using a range of Windows Office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. • The optimisation of working capital through strict control and optimisation of payment terms throughout the supply base releasing working capital supporting the wider business requirement.• The reduction of risk to the business through good contract management highlighting synergies with suppliers to minimise costs through volume leverage.• To maintain a focus on the requirements of the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative through reducing the carbon throughout the main estate within the refrigeration remit highlighting areas for improvement and synergies with other areas.

Responsible for an expenditure of £9,500,000 with a supplier base of 35, supplying a range of 450 packaging items into 2 Wm Morrison’s packhouses and 2 Wm Morrisons Bakeries. Portfolio of products includes corrugated board, printed film, wicketted bags, labels and rigids.• To maintain a continuous and fit for purpose supply of packaging items into the four sites under my remit to achieve optimum productivity.• To identify synergies across the Wm Morrisons manufacturing group to utilise volume leverage to maximise savings and to optimise purchasing leverage.• Liaising with suppliers on a day to day basis to develop and effective supplier based, building good supplier relationships.• To co-ordinate the demands of a manufacturing environment whilst responding to the requirements of the traders whose main objective is to achieve share and maximum profitability in a competitive market place.• The reduction of waste by the rationalisation and standardisation of product range.• The optimisation of working capital by strict control of supply chain stock levels; critical in an area of fast moving trends and high levels of promotional activity.• To maintain focus on the requirements of the corporate social responsibility initiative in order to ensure all purchasing is environmentally responsible. This includes understand the importance of manufacturing and transport carbon footprints. Flowerworld rigid weights reduced by c.30 Tonnes per annum; 7.5% weight saving
