EMS Coordinator for multi-center prehospital clinical trial, based out of The University of Iowa Hospital Initiated, developed and maintained relationships with key hospital buying influences and 38 ROC agencies. Presented to and worked with the Institution Review Board’s of over 25 leading hospitals across Iowa including key hospital leadership to develop relationships and facilitate implementation of ROC study protocols in addition to developing, implementing, and maintaining individually tailored protocols for remote agencies across Iowa.

Green Zone- Universal Pictures/ Working Title Films- Contracted by director Paul Greengrass and Universal Pictures for a 4 month shoot- responsibilities were to assist and train alongside films stars- Matt Damon and Jason Isaacs- while instructing on the basics of weapons handling, military discipline, TTP’s, Movement to Contact Procedures, Iraqi cultural sensitivities and the applications of basic soldier skills during combat operations. Additionally helped to provide historical and contextual perspective for a film inspired by Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lead, mentor and maintain National Registered- EMT Basics; teaching the 68W10 (Combat Medic) course to soldiers who are newly transitioning to the Job from a previous job field, Additionally taught Combat Lifesaver Courses, (Advanced Leader Course) ALC, and (Senior Leader Course) SLC. Also responsible for TC3 (Tactical Combat Casualty Care course) and pre-deployment training.

Indirect Fire Infantryman HHC 2/504 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division.Operated both mounted and dismounted to close with and destroy the enemy. Employed, operated, and maintained assigned weapons and equipment. Employed proper dismounted movement techniques, cover, concealment, and camouflage as part of dismount team. Performed basic communication functions and operated platoon communications equipment. Constructed individual fighting positions and mortar fire bases. Collected and reported tactical information as member of combat or reconnaissance patrol. Assisted in target detection, identification, and round sensing. Assisted in the breaching of minefields and obstacles. Used explosive charges to disable runways, bridges and roadways.

Provide Primary 911 emergency medical care for Johnson County, Iowa. Also provide medical coverage for university events and games.

Responsible to Train, mentor and Lead members of the New Iraqi Army on combat operations with the 9th Iraqi Army Division. Operated as a liaison between Iraqi and Coalition forces both in garrison and on missions. Completed over 117 Combat operations throughout Iraq, including a wide range of taskings from humanitarian to capture/kill. Provided both point of injury and follow on care for 3000 Iraqi soldiers and 18 americans on the team. This included medical treatment/planning, medical intelligence and threat identification/mitigation, wounded/killed evacuation, coordinating mass casualty patient flow to local hospitals, equipment acquisition and distribution, etc. Responsible for over $1.5 million in medical equipment.
