I have a keen interest in developing sustainable tourism in Canada and inspiring people to spend more time outdoors. I worked for two years as an adviser to the Prime Minister as a part of the first inaugural Prime Minister's Youth Council, and I am currently a board member of the Yukon Housing Board where I advocate for youth and their future in the evolving housing market. Working for Parks Canada I developed a two-day Dark Sky Festival which inspired visitors to appreciate the northern sky. While at school, I founded the UBC Parks Canada Club which inspired youth to get outdoors and live an active lifestyle through variety of activities. I’ve volunteered as a keynote speaker at a number of conferences discussing the importance of including youth into the dialogue.
