I attended La Universidad Central del Este (UCE) in the Dominican Republic in in Fall of 1995. I graduated with honors in February of 2000. I received a PhD in alternative medicine with emphasis cancer biology. I completed an internship in family medicine at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple Texas, where I was elected as the intern of the year by my peers. I specialized in Internal medicine, medical oncology and bone marrow transplant at Baylor Scott & White memorial hospital Texas A & M Campus and Baylor University Sammons Cancer center in Dallas Texas. I have served our veterans at Temple VA for more than three years and served as chief of medicine at Texoma medical center for two terms, where I held a board position as ACGME accredited Residency program for five years.While reunning the residency program I became involved with hands on day to day mentoring of residents at Texoma Medical Center (TMC) and mentored many students at Austin College, Sherman Texas campus. I hels a position of an assistant professor at the University of North Texas (UNT) between 2018 to 2020.Upon joining The US Oncology Network in North Texas in July of 2008, I managed the care of thousands of cancer patients, by establishing myself as one of the most sought-after oncologists in Texas. I was able to balance the demands of my profession with my personal life while raising three sons alongside my wife who worked as a hospitalist.Once pandemic took over, I dedicated a portion of my time to life-coaching and helping many physicians via confidential support and guidance aiming to ease the complexities of their personal and professional lives in person and online via Elit-Life-coaching.com which is still in existence.To inspire my patients, I published a book called God’s time with the guidance of my friend and co-author Dr Richard Saltz in November of 2023.In 2023, I accepted a position as a cancer specialist with The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation (TOI) in Los Angeles, where I continue to contribute to patient care as I participate in research-based endeavors and clinical trials.In past two decades I served as medical director of home health and hospice of Grayson County in Texas. As a member of American society of Hematology (ASH), American board of Hospice and Palliative medicine as well as American Society of Clinical oncology (ASCO), I have abundant research experience in hereditary risk management and genetic counseling. I am currently working at The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation, Downey, California.
