I have 10 years' employment experience as a web developer / programmer.I am currently employed by WTS Technologies in Stanningley, Leeds where I have worked for a period of 6 years.The websites I create are mainly bespoke e-Commerce stores and Content Management Systems, for which I develop and code the backend PHP and MySQL databases.I code frontend using Bootstrap and all sites I build are fully mobile responsive.I use jQuery where ever I can and CSS3 to for styling, and HTML5 where there is browser support for it.I currently code my e-Commerce stores and CMS websites using OOP (Object-oriented programming ) and I have experience using the Laravel Framework.I have integrated e-Commerce stores with various payment gateways including Paypal, Sagepay, Barclays Merchant, Google Checkout, Worlpay and PaymentSense.

My role as a web developer covers all aspects of the development cycle, including both front and back end development. I predominantly develop the backend for all e-Commerce and CRM sites, but I am competent at frontend and do so when it is needed. During my 6 years here I have learnt how to deal with heavy workloads and have since developed my own OOP class structure which can be used easily with any database related website. These classes are now used in all our e-Commerce stores and CMS’s. One example of such a site is a Content Management System (CMS) I built for a company to manage their business. Sections on this CMS include Customers, Suppliers, Products, Materials, Quotes, Stock, Purchase Orders, Delivery Schedules. This has been built up over the last 3 or 4 years and is now the main CMS they use to manage their business. I have worked on over 100 sites in my time here.
