About Alex Ewart
I'm a BS Computer Science student at MSOE, graduating in May 2027. I have project experience in machine learning and web development. I'm a member of AI Club and 3D Printing Club. Skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VS Code, and Intellij Idea. I'm seeking internship opportunities for the summer of 2024. Please contact me at ewarta@msoe.edu or (262) 269-7586I chose MSOE because of how it prepares students for their careers with experience outside the classroom. Because of my curiosity regarding artificial intelligence and the ROSIE supercomputer on campus, I joined AI Club right when I got to campus. Since then, I was a member of a research group exploring large language models and testing their ability to generate false responses. I presented our work with one of my partners at the 2024 Midwest Instruction and Computing Symposium, a valuable experience I was lucky to have.With 4 years of experience in customer service, I've been able to foster strong skills working with and understaning people from all walks of life. I've also worked in a fast-paced kitchen preparing several dishes at once, helping me develop strong time management skills and experience under pressure. Something interesting about me is I have a strong determination for distance running. I've ran one marathon and plan to complete my first triathalon in June of 2024.
