As a design practitioner and industry leader, I have built a career developing and fostering award-winning design practices at some of the largest advertising agencies in the US. I currently serve as SVP Design Director at the Leo Burnett Dept. of Design in Chicago. Prior to Leo Burnett, I was a Senior Designer and founding team member of the brand design group Ogilvy 485. Previous clients include UPS, Sprint, Allstate, Samsung, Serta, Esurance, Obey, Wired, Google, Bonobos, E. & J. Gallo Winery and Feeding America.My work holds a place in both the AIGA and STA Archives and has been featured in leading industry news sources such as Wired, Good, How, Communication Arts and It’s Nice That.Beyond the checklist of industry accolades, I have received international acclaim for my independent design and art projects. In 2007 I co-founded The Post Family, a Chicago-based artist collective that has exhibited art installations, led creative workshops and curated community-focused experiences across the country. In 2009 I founded 5x7, a publishing company to curate and design limited edition, 5x7 inch artists' books. I collaborate with artists, designers and illustrators from all over the world to challenge and enliven a standardized format.My passion for creative problem solving and innate curious nature is found equally in my corporate endeavors and independent initiatives. It is this range and diversity of challenges that fuels me.
