Created a remote workforce management application from scratch as a sole developer on the project. Ported software to a number of smart-phone devices including Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and J2ME. Ported software to run on Windows PC as well.

- Enhanced, maintained, optimized, and troubleshot different areas of smart camera firmware (C, C++). Worked with the production team to address any issues as they arose.- Enhanced and maintained different areas of MFC user interface software.- Ported PROFINET/IO communication stack to two different product lines and shepherded them through certification. Developed .NET (C#) applications to test PROFINET communications.- Implemented support for CC-Link (serial factory communication protocol) on a new platform.

- Developed firmware and optimized algorithm performance for PowerPC 860, Hitachi SH4, and TI DSP processors (C, C++, Assembly).- Maintained and enhanced embedded TCP/IP stack as well as industrial protocol stacks: Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP.- Developed Ethernet and serial port (RS232) device drivers as well as PCI bus interface API.- Maintained and enhanced algorithms for optical reading of one-dimensional bar codes.- Ported and enhanced an embedded web server and SOAP server. - Maintained and enhanced an embedded flash file-system.- Maintained and enhanced Maintained and enhanced MFC user interface software. - Created sets of documentation for multiple projects under ISO 9000 guidelines.- Developed Object-Oriented software as part of a team using Agile methods.

- Developed software for an embedded real-time wireless communication system. - Implemented custom communication protocol to exchange GPS and telemetry data between multiple race cars and multiple ground stations.
