I have worked in the information technology sector for two decades. My initial role involved managing a K-12 school network, and after demonstrating my capabilities, I was entrusted with overseeing all district security cameras and student data. During my tenure, I integrated numerous programs with our aging student information system software and eventually I was put in charge of migrating the districts data to a more modern and capable Student Information System.In 2015, I decided the time had come to take on new challenges and joined Focus School Software. Over the last eight years, I have honed my skills and taken on increasing responsibility. I started by writing SQL reports and addressing basic support tickets, and gradually advanced to designing multiple internal tools using Python and Flask. Additionally, I have played a critical role in maintaining parts of our PHP code base while also authoring new programs from scratch, such as the Civil Rights Data Collection.
