In January 2021, I stepped up to a senior position on the production team while retaining producing duties. I edit for and publish across all key social platforms, managing my workflow to meet tight deadlines and working within editorial and brand safety guidelines. - Taken on weekend shifts where I'm solely responsible for monitoring Snapchat analytics and adapting tiles and editions to maximise performance. - Overseeing the redirection of LGBT+ positive news show 'The Queer Catch-Up', hosting meetings with the Video Production Editor, Video Growth Editor and other Senior Producers to collaborate on the effort. As part of this, I've been guiding a junior producer in story sourcing, script writing and editing of the show.- Creating more reactive news pieces, including our most viewed and highest grossing piece of Snapchat video content across all channels. I was able to twice beat our competitors to the story and secure high viewership as a result. - Flexible and adaptable to new strategy, social trends and changes within competitor output. I also use analytics and data to forward content planning. - Produced all current episodes of new LGBT+ fitness show 'WerkOut' on Snapchat. The show was originally commissioned for five episodes and quickly extended to fifteen. By quickly adapting content, format and editing style we've been able to retain high unique views.- Hosted a live in-app interview promoted by TikTok with creator Laura Orgill as part of LGBT+ History Month.

Since joining the PinkNews production team I've been working across Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. - Responsible for self-shooting original interviews, features and news content in studio and on location. - While working from home, I source contributors and gain original interview footage as well as sourcing pre-existing content and gaining permissions. - Worked on video campaigns for commercial clients such as NSPCC and Lelo, editing and amending to their specifications.- Produced positive LGBT+ news show, 'The Queer Catch-Up'; story sourcing, scripting, filming (or remotely directing a presenter), editing and publishing for social platforms. This was originally for Twitter and Instagram and later Snapchat.- Led the way on explainer-style US elections coverage for Snapchat, providing a digestible breakdown of candidates and policies from an LGBT+ perspective while remaining neutral. - Produced coverage of the 2019 UK general election for Snapchat, featuring policy and party breakdowns, polls and quizzes. I worked throughout election night to keep audiences informed. This was nominated for a Digiday Award for Best Use of Social Media. As part of the coverage, I produced an interview with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. - Produced interviews with all candidates for Labour leader and deputy leader at the Labour LGBT+ hustings in Manchester, working alongside the web editor. - Filmed red carpet interviews at the PinkNews Awards.- Aided other sections of the PinkNews team and represented the company as a whole, hosting panel discussions as part of initiatives such as 'Pride for All' and 'PinkNews Futures'. - Conducted a live Instagram interview with 'TOWIE' star Demi Sims. - Remotely represented PinkNews on a panel at the 21st Mezipatra Queer Film Festival in Czechia.- Provided media assistance including video highlights and Instagram story coverage for Trans Fest 2020, as part of a sponsorship agreement.

I headed up a team of enthusiastic members to oversee the production of 4 different shows as well as arranging interviewing/filming opportunities with local bands and touring artists. I was always willing to get involved in other section's opportunities and general live streaming events. ForgeTV gave me the opportunity to show my leadership skills as well as allowing myself a creative outlet.
