With my professional experience in the Automotive Service Industry and the General Contracting and Construction Industry, I have obtained a special skillset that utilizes clear communication with colleagues and customers, general knowledge on working with Computers and Software systems, the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions in both conventional and unconventional means, and remaining organized with a full plate of responsibilities and workloads to oversee. From Early 2017- Mid 2019 I worked as an Automotive Service Advisor for Car Dealerships and versed myself in the working of Automotive vehicles and their functionalities. I oversaw a team of technicians and worked jointly with them and the parts department to diagnose and repair issues with customer vehicles. In my time there I also relayed knowledge of vehicles back to the customer and discussed services suggested or required to fix corresponding issues. In June of 2019 I obtained my General Contractors License and pursued a career in General Contracting and Landscaping. Here I further developed my communication skills by overseeing job sites and communicating with both employees and clients to fulfill the contract obligations. I also became familiar with State and City codes / statutes required of a Licensed Contractor to pass inspections for completion of projects. In my personal experience, I also have a passion for building and configuring desktop computers. I have built systems for the Landscape company to utilize and even have had some personal commission builds under my belt. I can configure BIOS/UEFI settings to optimize systems or troubleshoot ongoing issues with builds. Overall my interest in IT systems continues to grow and my passion for it helps me drive my career forward. I believe that my communication skills and experience with computer systems can be utilized on a team that works toward helping others or integrating new systems and softwares into work environments.
